Special Agent Seeley Booth is 37 years old, fit, athletic, tall, and a very, very good shot. That's probably because he was a sniper with the U.S. Army Rangers for about 10 years. He doesn't much like to talk about that, though. He'd much rather tell people about his current job, which involves finding killers and working closely with the staff of the Jeffersonian Institute. He works especially closely with Dr. Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist who has become a close friend.

Booth is currently single, but he recently broke up with Dr. Camille Saroyan, director of the Jeffersonian Institute, after she was poisoned by serial killer Howard Epps.

He was also placed on leave after he shot the clown head on top of an ice cream truck. He's back at work, but undergoing counseling.
